Today my beautiful wife graduated from Suffolk Community College with honors and distinction. We are all very proud of her, and you should be too.

This is a new outboard motor developed for the navy by Evinrude. It is submercible to 200 feet, which is impressive. But the unique feature of this outboard is it's flexible fuel requirements: The motor will run on diesel, home heating oil, kerosene, methane, two types of jet fuel, and even...........jack daniels whiskey!

This was the view right after the start of the local, weekly sailboat race around Robin's Island in Peconic Bay. It's been a tradition in this small town for a long time. The sailboat that I service and have posted pic's of here in this blog is leading the field, seen in the distance in the center.
